PBA.ph reports a revised PBA ticketing system come next season to further increase gate receipts and revenue. Let’ see:
All-Team Access Pass: New scheme is the All-Team Access Pass (ATP) where fans can get season ticket pass but on a per team basis. The All-Team Access Pass differs from the Season-Ticket pass. Owning ATP means, you are not to pay for games that don’t interest you. Believe me, with 10 teams, a bad playing date schedule can not be prevented even if the PBA hires the best PhD in Statistics and Probability.
The All-Team Season Access pass also bundles 1 PBA shirt, an autographed item and picture of the fan’s favorite player, a PBA annual, a Fastastig ID and a pre-scheduled dug-out tour. That’s for the Patron seat that sells for P6,300. The Lower box Access Pass cost P5,500 but will get you the Patron Seat freebies but without the dug-out tour. The Upper Box Access Pass merits Fantastig ID, PBA annual and autographed item. Rating: Well Done
More Outlets: Tickets will now be available at SanMig Food Stores. Ahhh, where can I find a SanMig Store? Aren’t SanMIg stores Mommy’s haven? Last time I check, Mommys are not PBA hoops junkie. (Of course some would argue.) There would be better establishments that fit a PBA ticket outlet. Why not sport shops, known fitness gyms. How about Zagu and Shawarma stalls? Rating: Fair.
Tickets Available Online: Wow! This is good news. But where? Probably available online thru Mozcom Stores. But wait, PBA says online inquiries can be made at email@example.com and not thru a portal. Uh-oh, available thru email orders but ticket acquisition, procurement was not reported. Until the system is cleared up, this doesn’t make the grade. Rating: Half Cooked.
Mobile Phone Ticketing: As of press time, arrangements are still being ironed out with probable carrier Smart and Talk N Text. No details yet as to how money transfer, debit/credit, venue pass will be created. Like, will fans show a text message at venue entrance? Rating: Half Cooked.
