OLONGAPO- Rookie Chrisangelo suffered the worst loss of his young pro career as his Iligan Privateers were publicly humiliated (pun intended) by the Olongapo Supernovas, 111-31 at the legendary Richmond Arena.
The 6-3 shooting guard from Santo Tomas was the only bright spot for the Privateers and showed why he was drafted 1st overall, leading his team in every statistical category with 9 points, 4 assists, 7 rebounds and a steal in 48 minutes of action.

Oh scratch, I’m running out of compliments. Chris is a longshot from playing in any pro league, much less get drafted first overall. Man, he can’t even outplay me one-on-one! :D
Anyways, I got your attention. Hehehe. Well, I stumbled into this cool site for hoosiers, cyberdunk.com. It’s still in its beta stage so don’t expect great graphics. The sketches are even weird and cheap-looking. But the play is definitely great. You can create a player (or manage a team), get drafted, and sign a contract in one of the leagues in any country you prefer. This is a dream come true I tell you. Hahaha.
If you can’t get to the local playground due to the effing weather, log on to cyberdunk and create your own virtual hoopster.

Get drafted and work your way to a starting spot.

Track your stats from your last match or for the whole season.
Play in Premier Leagues or bring that swagger in 1on1 duels to earn money you could spend to train with a foreign coach to improve stats or buy equipment for better on-court performance. You could also get a chance to represent your country in International meets.
Maybe we could get enough players to form a hoops.blink.ph team. Ayt? :D
