Well atleast for two games.

Don’t you just love how this team plays? After watching their first two games, I got the feeling that I’m watching the Golden State Warriors when they pulled an upset against the Dallas Mavericks some years ago. No what’s, no if’s, no BS. They just want to play and they enjoy what they’re doing.

There was this TV personality who was interviewed yesterday in the game by the uber hot Reeme Chanco and he pointed out that one reason why Rain or Shine did great against Air 21 and Red Bull was because they’re all young, they  want to prove something and they just want to play. There’s a fire running inside the team that wasn’t there in their first two years in the league and it’s obviously showing in their games.

It could be because of the arrival of new blood Norwood, Mercado and Tang, could be the new system that Coach Caloy implies in the team and it could be the new found drive by the veterans or it could be every single thing that I’ve said above. Either way, I know it makes co owners Raymund Yu and Terry Que happy.

Now, the crucial part for Rain or Shine would be on how Coach Caloy Garcia and his staff would keep that fire running on the team because to be honest with you guys, one blowout loss can change the whole complexion of Rain or Shine’s game, One blowout loss can take away all that swagger, all that confidence for the Elasto Painters and that would hurt a lot because one reason why ROS has been successful and has looked good in the process of being succesful is because of the confidence that their players have shown, specifically to Ryan Arana and Solomon Mercado who has been taking shots at will and been making them. It’s going to be crucial for Coach Caloy to keep his team running because you know, along the way, there’s going to be a game where in they will just be outclassed and outgunned by a superior team.

Anyway, I cannot guarantee you a great finish by Rain or Shine because, you know, it’s tough to determine from two games. The only thing I can guarantee you is that they’ve turned heads in the first two games and yeah, they have a new fan.
