Brgy Ginebra outlasted Talk N Text last night 73-71 for the right to meet B-MEG in another do-or-die game. After putting up a gallant stand versus Ginebra, Paul Harris still went out a winner, a gentleman and a true sportsman.
I’ve been following Paul Harris’ career, here and in the U.S., and it’s been up and down roller coaster ride. With many ups in the Philippines, credit to his coach, teammates, team and Paul himself.
A championship last year and despite not getting in the finals this year, it’s a decent outing for Harris. His mid-range game is improved, his defense too and more importantly, his attitude towards the game and life, are all at all-time best.
I echo Jimmy Alapag thoughts, hoping to see a guy like Paul Harris be given a chance to play in the big league.
